One of many quaint, cobblestoned streets in the Lower Town section of Québec City. The Château Frontenac overlooks this quiet street on an early summer morning.

Part of my Quebec series, I enhanced this photograph using artistic filters to give it a unique, painterly appearance.

New England provides a wide variety of engaging subjects - seashore, mountains, forests, cities, and small towns offer great opportunities for capturing beautiful photographs. I often use artistic filters on many of my images to give them a painterly look. I also use High Dynamic Range (HDR) techniques to uncover and preserve rich details.
